How did we get caught in this mix.
Of people throwing away their lives for a fix.
Of homicide and suicide.
Of dropouts and bad routes.
Of polluted earth and girls giving birth.
Of STDs, stolen keys.
Of dark gray skies and countless drive-bys.
Of fallen hope and have to cope.
When will it finally end? When will the world
begin … to mend?

I really like it. I think that the picture you chose to put with it really brings out a very strong feeling of wanting all of the bad things to go away, and letting the magic reign again.

All i can say is WOW! This poem explained exactly what i was feeling. It really grabs the readers attention while asking why hasnt anyone offered a solution to the daily tragidies that occur everyday on this painfilled earth.

This poem is amazing. You totally hit the nail on the head. Our world is in a really sucky place right now and we are the generation that can change it.
