A True Soldier

You’re far away, but still so close
I hear your voice, but I can’t listen
You’re my uncle smart and strong,
Flying planes to save us all
You’re the bravest person I’ll ever know
You run, you fight, and you fly
And all for what?
To keep us alive,
Knowing you’re not here is the part that kills me,
But there will always be a place in my heart for you
I hope to see you very soon ,
But until then,
Keep flying .
