Too Beautiful

Her hands are so cold
She’s the disgrace.
It’s such huge wonder,
As she touches her face.
She’s heard that she’s perfect,
And has a beautiful smile.
Yet, she’ll never believe,
Because she’s in denial.
Her body is shaking,
Along with her fingers.
She turns in the mirror,
Her thoughts still linger.
How could she possibly see,
A person staring back at her.
We all see pretty,
But she isn’t as sure.
She pushes her hair
Behind her shoulders.
The weight on her back,
Is as heavy as boulders.
Chocolate brown eyes,
And flowing blonde hair,
Everyone talks good,
But her self esteem isn’t there.
She can’t remember how,
She got this way.
All she knows,
Is this feeling won’t go away.
