faded mulberry shirts
and spheres of green and white light
slivers of blue sky
speckled sunlight
floats
landing in your eyes,
on your nose,
in your beard
smiles
lips & eyes
(SOULS)
tie dye
and your skin & flesh & bones
underneath
hammock
taut white ropes under my spine,
my words stuck
in the web
of your mouth
the sight of you,
the curve of your profile
next to me
the mottled canopy
of branches and breath and laughter
above me
my heart
singing
and spheres of green and white light
slivers of blue sky
speckled sunlight
floats
landing in your eyes,
on your nose,
in your beard
smiles
lips & eyes
(SOULS)
tie dye
and your skin & flesh & bones
underneath
hammock
taut white ropes under my spine,
my words stuck
in the web
of your mouth
the sight of you,
the curve of your profile
next to me
the mottled canopy
of branches and breath and laughter
above me
my heart
singing
