Favorite Quote:
“Writing is a form of personal freedom. It frees us from the mass identity we see in the making all around us. In the end, writers will write not to be outlaw heroes of some underculture but mainly to save themselves, to survive as individuals.”

The first text
One wouldn't think it mattered
But it does.
If you text him first
He may respond
Showing some interest
But if he texts you first
Something's up.
Because it never happens
You're so used to being the first
It takes you by surprise
But you told yourself you weren't talking to him
It's so hard not to respond
Even with just one word
But one word means everything
Just like that first text.

Have you ever had something that sounds so unimportant mean the world to you? What if you couldn't do anything about it?
