The day you died everything turned gray
My heart turned black
My hazel eyes dimmed
My smile faded
That blue teddy bear you left behind was the only thing with color
I cried
The teddy bear stared
Nightmares came
I held him close
Everytime I thought of you
he was there
he was yours
Papa i miss you
and how you would always make me laugh
no matter what
I dont think I'll ever laugh again like that
I know you're better
and you dont feel pain
but know that i love you
and the teddy bear stayed
even through all the rain
