Lots and lots of love,
And lots and lots of hugs.
There is a lot of fluff out there.
But all that is just thin air.

Let’s get down to the bone.
Let it all show.
What thoughts cross your brain?
What blood runs through your vein?
There is lots to be heard.
And lots to be learned.
My eyes listen while my ears see.
You cannot hide what is right in front of me.
I buy posies by the pound.
Because I know someone’s going down.
Although you say life is good,
I know the truth, so does all the neighborhood.
We all have ups, and the down.
But do you think I missed when you left town?
Although you try so hard to hide,
I know what is truly inside.
