Snowing
Is this the lightning that we heed
For the things that we don’t need
Or the allies that we swore
Before we battled them at war
All the things that lay down low
We can cover them in snow
When the poppies start to crash
We can lay down in the ash
Then the ends will start to fray
‘Cuz all rebellion starts in May
Though we’re drawing in the dark
We will all still leave our mark
Secretly we all are bound
To a world we never found
While we’re drowning in the lies
That an outraged village buys
