What You Got

The larger and more hollow these buildings get,the worse I want to
Escape from a place with empty,dust-filled halls and nothing of you
Burnt sienna paint on 100 ft walls look at me and refuse
To let me inside of their secret army, I am allowed no truce
There are windows as wide as a trio of busses with no glass
And it overlooks the eternal desert crossing the fading sun
Skies full of water colors of hot pinks & oranges, but it won't last
Kiss my burnt cheeks just when day is about to feel done
And in the night, I keep looking for you in these empty rooms
Letting salt water fall from my iris everytime I don't or can't find
All I want is to share a part of my heart and show you I want swoons
I know you always talk about that someone, you can be mine
It's no use,only I take up a cell-size space in this d****** place
That's it, face the empty room and accidentally slip off the edge
Except some explosive pale growths burst out of my back in the chase
For my rag doll body to hit the ground and have it etched
Run,run as fast as my dry feet can shove me forward
To stop as soon as I can see the back of your head nod
Slowly, crunching pebbles beneath my body fire set to the third bar
Cause all I want is what you got
