Fast and flowing
Shallow and deep
Taking any one
As well anything
An immense journey
Not sure where it leads
Or when you arrive
But you’ll decide when you begin
And who you will take with you
A comrade
A friend
A life long companion
To be by your side in that river of life
With sharp rock banks
That guard the clear waters
Sheltering the creatures that float
Upon the surface of the great river
That twists through rock faces
Forests and valleys
Mountains and planes
And to the very ends of the earth
The river will continue to flow
Through space and time
Eternally
