The towers looked down at the citizens
As the sun rose in the City of Love.
They gathered for a celebration.
They were aware love has won.
Interrupted the peace of all,
Hate was his name.
Trying to overpower love
With guns and flames.
With great power love conquered,
People danced and shouted, “La victoire!”
In a sweet voice love spoke
While everyone praised him with glory.
Love touched the hearts of the broken.
He shouted, “Thy war is over, we have won!”
The people knew they were at peace
And praised till the next rise of the sun.
