Surrender
Been left out on the side of the road
and I can't find my way back home,
could it be back in my cocoon?
Starting to question these strangers
around me, are they my friends?
Pulled in different directions,
fire of destruction consumes control.
These bridges we once built,
they're crumbling down
into ashes before my eyes.
Stuck my head up in the clouds
now it's time to come back
down.
Face the reality i live,
no time left to dodge
the creatures that guard
the gates.
Lay down my hand;
confess to my crimes and
pay the awaiting debt.
These are my sins, I confess.
