Thoughts of X

A place I called home, at first it seemed unknown.
People took me in, became almost like kin.
I learned to pave my future, not just sit by a computer.

Different people, cultures, background.

Different ethnicity, yet we all became a family.
I started out with Mixteco, then ventured into Spanish, but nothing worked like Mexico.
My home for 3 years, you'll be ever dear.
I just wish I was near to your waves resounding so clear.
