Shall I wipe the tears when you weep?

Shall I hold you near when such sorrow severs deep?

To feel the warmth of your body close to me

Shut my eyes when your name is said

Recollections rail my mind, could it be?

Echoes in this weary state as I lie in bed

Come to me when amorous intention overcomes

Shall I whisper in the dark?

Shall I wait when the light comes to part?

Ask as I may, love me without question

Not only here in person, but fantasy incarnate

When in your presence, my voice a slur of diction

This love n other shall ever impersonate

Agitation of commotion beckons

Shall I call when condemnation comes to surface?

Shall I remain when love has no such purpose?

Die inside from a loss, oh so dear

Even so, determination never shall pale

In the eyes of the beholder, oh so clear

Take what you wish; I will give what you tell

Trust, ardent and tender

For this a choose forever

Shall I…
