My Ideal Friend

November 26, 2011
If you fall, don't worry I'll catch you
If you drop, I'll push you back up
When you need a hand, mines is there
When you need comfort, my shoulder's waiting
If you're lost, I'll be your North Star
If times get dark, I have spare light
When you get tangled in trouble, I'll help you out
When you make a mistake, you can borrow my tools to fix it
I'll catch anything that life throws at you
I'll be your friend through thick and thin

As everyone else seems to, I enjoyed the North Star reference. I liked it because, though some of your other comparisons were coloquial, it was a bit out of the box (Ha, see what I did there? I'm such a hypocrite).

As Chaotic pointed out, omit that "s" from "mines". Other than that, I can't find any spelling or grammatical mistakes.

I enjoyed it, though it's a common topic. 4/5 because you got bonus points for getting interesting with them stars XD

What a nice poem! My favorite line is "If you're lost, I'll be your North Star" and "If times get dark, I have spare light"

Oh and for the third line, omit the 's' from 'mine'.

Overall, very nice poem. I like it!
