"Remember, happiness is under a broken rainbow right next to the meaning of life." - QM

Chapter 1
Ships are full
Shoulder to shoulder
Clutched inside
the Wooden Fist
Some dropped like flies
Dead black insects
Others waited, only to be
Swatted

Chapter 2
Generations past doing
the same as before
Having no idea of
When it started
In the fields is our life
We need change
We need freedom

Chapter 3
The first time I got called
That Word
That Word stings
It's over right?
Well it sure doesn't seem
that way

Racism
Is like a book with no climax
No change
The "Bad Guys"
Always win
The End

The author's comments:
It's a metaphor poem comparing racism to a sad book.
