My Crayon Box
What should I color, the shimmering Seven Seas?
Or how about the trees that are home to the bees,
For those I could use my Jade or Honey Comb,
Or for the castle made of resilient stone.
Vibrant wax and pastel shine,
A Jungle Book scene where the ivy entwines.
When I’m done with one landscape, I move to the next!
The river which flows and the sun that reflects.
Overflowing sidewalks with constructions that soar,
Underlying beauty in a city contour.
Pulsating rain forests with wavering vines,
Swaying with life, intricate designs.
Marshmallow White, Razzle Dazzle Rose
With Mango Tango I draw Christmas bows.
The world is a place full of splendor and grace
Imagine how many colors you see in a day.
Recreating what the eye enjoys;
And to think about how much the human destroys.
A diverse Earth is one that will thrive
And with my box full of wonder, the page comes alive.
