The Pain

It was the same pain every day
The pain I wished would go away
The pain I knew would never leave
The pain that made me stop to believe
And all that pain I kept inside
And all of my happiness completely died
And now I’ll sit in bed alone
With no one to care
No helping hands to loan
I'll dream about the days before
The days where happiness was so much more
