A Snowy Day

A white blanket lying amongst the grass,
Fire blazing by the hearth on this extremely cold day.
Snowflakes flooding the sky,
Hats and gloves keeping us warm inside.
Warm hot chocolate sizzling inside of your throat,
The aroma of sensational cookies filling the kitchen,
Fluorescent lights shining brightly off of the Christmas tree,
Family and friends gathered together and rejoicing.
A white blanket lying amongst the grass,
Glistening white snow smiling back.
