Black Birds

Black specks
against an opaque sky

Consumed by wind,
thrusted forward

Hundreds of them
unified.

Not enough time to dwell,
to separate.

I wish to be
out there.

Carelessly floating,
unphased

Together swirling
above the chaos

Hearing nothing but
peace.

And quiet.
