First Detention
Two minutes too late with a sacrificing date with one twenty to wait.
My name is third down the list.
Once upon a time ago, I would’ve never dreamt of becoming this.
Patience on my wrist but I am far from it.
Repeating all I wanted because I missed a happy ending.
Acquaintances who wanted to be my friend
But now I snatch their exs.
Loyality and trust lost from those I barely knew.
And to think we are quite a like.
Running late with the bad and I am what she never had.
Her past haunting and now she’s getting back.
Troubling by rewarding me with the worst:
My first detention.
Let me mention, eleventh grade, out of all my days.
Almost made it out clean.
But my whatever size jeans brought out her mean.
And now, I am no longer perfect at anything anymore.
