Far too long I’ve felt alone and been teased
All I want is for everyone to be pleased
Try so hard to be accepted and loved
But it seems like it’s only from the one guy above
For the world not to be judgmental, that is all I ask
I guess I’m just making myself look like an a**
Love me or hate me, I am who I am
Wonder when I’ll reach the point of where I don’t give a d***
Blue eyes, brown hair, not a size zero in jeans
Go ahead and laugh, by all means
The outside doesn’t matter, it’s what’s on the inside that counts
If you took the time to know me, you could know what I’m about
I may not be perfect and I don’t plan to be
I am who I am and that person is me.

The author's comments:
The inspiration of this poem was the hurt and pain I feel of being teased and feeling that I am alone and no one likes me for me because I am fat. The fact that everyone is so judgmental and judge people way too much about a person's outer appearance rather than getting to know them is very hurtful.
