penny
sometimes when i’m feeling down about myself, i shop. usually for the little things that make me happy, like dresses or books. once i get my change, i walk outside and just drop all of my coins onto the ground. i do my best to make sure that they’re face-up. i leave pennies in random places, in hopes that they’ll give someone good luck. someone like me, who maybe needs that little sliver of luck in the form of a shiny, promising coin.
