Don’t count your chickens before they hatch
Disappointment will be at the end of that cliff
Like a needle in a haystack
Your hopes would be lost
Looking for a place to climb back up
And hear a familiar voice
Like the sun rising in the morning
And resetting the day that lies ahead

And since an apple a day keeps the doctor away,
What good is having medical
When you have an apple tree?
Unless you don’t particularly enjoy the taste of apples,
Then you are clouded like the opaque waters of a swamp,
With bugs and flies whirring past you

However,
You cannot cry over spilled milk
Because that’s what Bounty is for
In life mistakes are made day after day
Regrets arise through the errors made
But a lesson learns allows regrets to fade
