A bubble of conformity
A restirction on creativity
A hindrance of individuality
A barrier on the unique
They all teach us to be ourselves
Yet when we are, we are judged
Mocked, scorned, vilified
A double standard exists in our culture
We are told to embrace our quirks
Yet shut out and talked about
When we are different
We try to break free
Until we savor that one tantalizing sip
Of the toxic cocktail of conformity
Causing us to be love drunk with rules and reason
Reject the standards and ideals of society
And you will be ridiculed
Forever destined to be alone in your thinking
The world is nothing
But a vast puppet show
For the masters
Pulling us each by a mere string
Making sure we don't stray from the norm
In this
Bubble of conformity
Restriction on creativity
Hindrance of individuality
Barrier on the unique

Wonderful. :) Coincidentally, I was just thinking about all that.

Ooh I like that. It's got a quick, almost frantic rhythm with a really good meaning in it that I completely agree with. Well done. I'd offer more punctuation though? Just a suggestion since it can really add dynamics to a poem. It is free verse though so it's totally up to you and your style.
