Psalm 23:2-4

I am the crunch of leaves beneath your feet.
I am the vivid reds, browns, and yellows.
I am the cold, dark nights.
I am the alabaster rays of sun.
I am the dribble of juice from your apple
The rolling wind that chatters your teeth is mine.
Along with the tart flavor of fallen fruit.
I am the sun hitting the shadow.
And the shadow itself.
I am the rising color of dawn.
I am the darkness in the far.
Like the breeze that hits your skin,
And the life of autumn itself.

This piece is about fall and the nature that goes on during it. It expresses both dark and light moods, and was fun to work on.
