The Words Of Mouth

Words of anger,
Of hate,
Of love,
Of truth,
Of lies…
You open your
Mouth and I
Hear the words,
But there are so
Many hidden meanings.
You say
A word,
I hear
It and
I still can’t understand.
Understand the
Meaning behind
‘I love you’,
The meaning behind
‘I care’.
Your mouth says
One thing,
But your
Eyes say
Another.
Reading your
Eyes is easy,
They show your
Lies and your
Contempt.
The words from
Your mouth,
I don’t trust,
But if I must,
Look me in the eye,
So I may see
Past your lies,
And deceitful words,
To the truth
Of you.
