Never Say "Love" in a Love Poem

With the wind of sweet surrender
On the brink of winters eve
A kiss on the lips of time
Of our infinite destiny
On the brink of madness
With a taste of serenity
Power and daffodils
Fill my vacancy
Blink before the trap of blind
And the amber shade of gold
Deaf men know reality
And trueness of the old
Falter for the comfort
And fall for acid pain
Yet yearn for blessed healing
And dancing through the rain
Rejoice, rejoice, for putrid dawn
Yet yield the stench of hope
Power through analogy
Through necks and helpless rope
Suffer like an empty space
With a mouth lost for sound
Searching for an answer
When it’s already been found
Salvation in an earnest dream
Knees that herald weak
My breath is lost in sweet surrender
My voice can hardly speak
Summon all the anxious ones
Disperse away the fear
Yet silence all the hopeful ones
Who drown in shortened cheer
Heart in race with mind and hand
And soul that flutters through
For the sake of all humanity
Im in _____ with you.
