The Angel's Portrayal

The flicker in his eyes, an eternal sapphire flame,
burns with hope.

With a strong jaw he stands tall,
Clouding out the shades.

Strands of Sunlight tumble from his skull.
Is it the Golden Fleece placed upon his head?

He spreads his immaculate wings,
a dove could not compare.

He ascends into the clouds,
a star of everlasting glow.

With his all-seeing eyes,
He watches and awaits for you.

The silver key round his neck,
Eager to welcome and slow to deny.

A click of the lock, the Angel’s rejoice.
For another dear brother has returned home
