vivid, intricate, melting
pink, blue, soft
the tiniest drops
of death
falling from the sky.
it has always been so peaceful;
it has always been so cold.
vivid, intricate, fleeting
pink, blue, calm
the simplest form
of ending
disappearing from the face.
it has always been so silent;
it has always been so brief.
vivid, intricate, absent
pink, blue, gone
the prettiest way
of leaving
bringing on the spring.
it has always been so hopeful;
it has always meant despair.
so i will lay in its terrible love,
and paint you a messenger.
take me away.
