day(s)
waves rushing through the breeze
what i had you did not need
so bent the trees without a please
while my brain began to feed
the rot that ate the bark so green
my eyes watered at the sight
water bugs that could be seen
i never thought the earth so bright
moldy books across my shelf
and a family to toll the bell
i did not want to kill myself
but i did it so well
a never ending sunday.
