Little Girl
I use to be this little girl
Who thought she could rule the world
But as I started to mature
I wasn't this little girl no more
Giving up the life of fairy-tales and dreams
And turning into a teen with low self esteem
Worrying about how I looked on the outside
To wishing to be the girl going down the slide
I dreamed and dreamed of being that kid
Who didn't care what anyone said
Running around free willingly
But now having animosity
I miss being that little girl
Who still wished to rule the world
The little girl who turned everything fun
But now all is said and done
