I know you're up in heaven now
hanging with the Angels and such,
But do You know that I'm hurting cause I miss you so much?

I wish that I could understand
Just why You went away,
Why there was no kind of warning
and no last words to say.

Those things that we think at the end
those words that somehow explain,
Why I can barely stop crying
through the tears and the pain.

You were such an inspiration I see,
That all that You were is all that is Me.
I am your seed and your legacy too,
So I thank you Grandma for being You.

Grandma, You were such a joy to me
Making me laugh and loving me too,
and so from here until forever
I will always remember You.
