Comforting Darkness

I wish to be warmed by the cloak of night,
To float on a fluffy cloud,
I wish to lie surrounded by a sea of black,
And not the slightest sound to speak.
To nestle my head on familiar comfort,
I wish for the dark velvet to pull me down
To where dreams of tomorrow
Flow through my head.
