All the time we spent on the lake

Clear blue skies stretch forever on
Sit on the dock hearing Nature's song
We'd lay in the grass not making a sound
Stare up at the sky and make shapes out of clouds

Crackling fires when the stars came out
Fireflies danced brightly all about
Strip off our clothes to go swim in the night
With you by my side it all felt so right

I wished those months would always be mine
But all good things must end in time
Sweet summer faded into fall
But i still have your love and memories of all
