Silent Murder

By , Norwich, NY
She stands still
And quiet
Holding the flower
Tightly grasping
The thorns
Slowly, silently
The petals float
To the ground
A silent murder
With no one around
The pitter patter
Of her blood on the cement
Is all that is heard
As it drains out of her
A silent murder
With no one else around
