Living in a dark town getting darker by the hour
It's not every day my eyes get nostalgic
For the moon
She'd never seen eyes like that
As the animal disconnected from the water
Water droplets pooling back
From the murky water
His head swung
Drenching the surroundings
Fur sleeked back
He paid her little knowledge
His shoulder muscles
Standing out proudly
As he moved she could see the power
His last foot dredged out of the water
He moved towards the forests edge
With one last sweep of his tail
He splashed water into her
And left her alone
