Cruel World
The world is cruel to those who fall,
Little hands trying to get up.
I wonder how the world sleeps at night,
Keeping her heart in a cup.
My love for those little hands never fade,
As his face crease with pain.
I wish this world will show you sunshine,
Instead of showing you rain.
And as fear drags on in my head,
You wear a smile.
As if you know something I don't,
If only awhile....
I wish the world will shelter you,
From the pain and from the tears.
To take you into her hands,
Away from the fears.
And the sky to be pure blue,
As our ocean rolls by.
The Earth will hold you in her heart,
Letting you free and fly.
