We Will Always Remember (9/11/2001)
September 11, 2011
We will never forget, and always remember
How we felt on that day in mid-September
As the towers fell so did the tears
Of the families that recognized their worst fears
As a country we united more than ever
We even held each other’s hands and prayed together
As a nation we wanted blood and gore
But we did not realize it would be over a ten year war
For the soldiers still fighting it’s still not done
They are still dying for what happened in 2001
