Is like being lost in the woods
Wondering for days on end
The coldness blankets my eyes
And the darkness shields my eyes
Making you disappear
Did you ever think about me?
The overwhelming ball of pain
Knowing you’re here yet your not
I’ve always ran from the dark hole in my heart
When it tried to suck me in
I would try to call your name
But I didn’t know it
We were children
We played hide and seek
You always hid and you were good at it
I never found you
You gave me something that I’ve always had
And something I will always have
Something that will be in my heart
Somewhere you should have always been
