Perhaps the walking of this shadowroad
Proves a certain reluctant evil
Buried deep in cautious wonder,
Awe inspired by this silent gore.
In throes of malice, the grasp of doom,
What monster resides in this battered heart?
Crouching low in a facade of good
Hatred reigns the sad reality.
Perhaps the waking of these firebeasts
Signifies the impending collapse
Hidden well in pretense of normalcy
Inevitable demise... welcome to you.
