I loved life
Until I realized
Life loved to see me fail

Now I am on the streets
With a five-year olds lunch pale

You know life is hard
Until you look through our eyes
And see it like us

Then you see we are a boat with no captain
And anchor less

As I have served for the salvation army I realize the people that go through it. It had open my eyes when I see little kids trying to get food and adults using everything they can find
