The White Blanket
A thick white blanket,
wraps around us,
keeps us in
The purity of it all,
hides our pain,
buries our sorrow
No where to go,
no one to be,
but ourselves
And just for a day,
we revel in it's comforts,
laughter in the air
Tomorrow,
it will all be gone,
and forgotten
A distant memory,
blowing away,
in the icy winds of winter
But for now,
enjoy this glorious snow day,
because there are none quite like it
