Twisting, pulling
Snap.
Branches of a weeping willow splintered
Gripping, pushing
Crack.
Sweet peach skin marred by bruises
Sobbing, heaving
Crash.
On the floor terrified
Trust broken, security shattered
Help.
Trapped with a monster
Waiting, timid
Safe.
Mother goose, back under her wings
