Poem #33
When there's a hole in your heart,
You only feel sadness,
And pain.
It's hard to know if you truly like someone,
Or even love them.
You say the words
"I love you", or
"I like you",
But they're empty,
Because even you don't know
If they're true
Or not.
In a place filled with sadness,
And pain,
It's hard to tell if you like someone,
Or even love them.
Your words are empty,
But you say them anyway
Just to hear yourself say them,
Trying to prove to yourself
That they're true,
And that you mean them.
But you don't know
Because of the hole in your heart,
That place of sadness
And pain.......
