I laugh and I cry at the sound of the moon
The ever sweet sound
It speaks to me softly
As the message proclaims boldly
To everyone who should hear

I laugh and I cry at the sight of a rose
The ever sweet sight
That speaks to me softly
And stings my finger boldly
To anyone who dares touch it

I laugh and I cry at the smell of the wind
The ever sweet smell
That speaks to me softly
And plays with your hair boldly
Or anything that it can touch

I laugh and I cry at the touch of the sun
The ever sweet touch
That speaks to me softly
And reddens you boldly
To anyone that stays in its embrace to long

The sun
The wind
The rose
The moon
Torn between two emotions

Love and hate
Happiness or sadness
Joy and sorrow
Laughter and crying
torn
