It is here where I lie
Alone.
Where the gentle sun
refuses to grace the terra
with her warm embrace.
Where neither the beings of light
nor the creatures of the dark
choose to inhabit.
It is here where I lie,
Alone.
It is here where I live,
Alone.
It is here, in the cradling haze
of nothing and everything,
where I choose to exist.
Alone,
but never lonely.
Awake,
but never aware.
In perfect euphony
with the thrum
of my own heartbeat,
reminding me that I am
Alone,
Alone.
