Prozac mends broken souls.
Enhanced substances ease the mind.
Pressure from peers is evident,
Everyone else is doing it, why can’t i?

Understanding the way this world turns is difficult,
With rejection not spared.
But then again,
Neither are feelings.

Betrayal: worse than a stab to the back.
It bleeds more,
Throbs in the chest.
Recovery is learned.
