It's been a year today, since you passed away,
we don't know what to feel & have nothing to say.
We all remembered, no we didn't forget,
You have a place in our heaerts and thats where you're set.
I'm glad you're up there, happy forever,
Tell Jesus I said hey & one day we'll be together.
I still cry at times when I think of you,
but all I do is pray cause that's all I can do.
After what happened we all learned a lesson,
Now things like waking up are such a blessing.
We all tell stories of you and how you were crazy,
you'd start trouble, but even you sometimes were lazy.
I pray for your family, your dad & your mother.
& I pray you always keep an eye on your brother.
You always visit us in the memories we keep,
those we hold the closest and they're buried so deep.
Only so they won't fade away,
Cause those are our very own and they'll always stay.
It kinda sucks cause you were so young.
Even though it makes me mad, I have to bite my tongue.
Just like the seasons have a reason they change,
Theres a reason we can't figure the world out & why its so strange.
We often ask questions, always ask why.
Like, why in the world do people have to die?
We can't live life living in gref,
I know that you're happy & it's such a relief.
But ima keep living this way so I end up where you are,
compared to forever its not too far.
Rest in peace Casey O'Dell its you that we love,
