Lost In This War

I sit between the war
I'm tired of it all
The crying
The yelling
The hurt
I pull my feet up to my cheast
trying to hide the pain
But all I hear are the screams
She's crying. I cant take it!
I want to go to the happy place Everyone talks about
I have been so close just to have It yanked away
Now I cower In my thoughts
I want my friends back
And my family
But I cant I'm lost
Lost in this war
